Photography Talk Chat Room

DK will email the subjects out a week ahead of time.

This special chat room is being setup to facilitate "On-Topic" discussions. Room members will decide what subjects they want covered via discussion in Special Interests: Photography, or at the end of a Camera Club session.

If a presenter needs images posted, send them to me and I will post them prior to the discussion.

Topic Suggestions:

Topics? I need all the help I can get.. I really need newbie basics. I still struggle with fstops and aperture vs speed. any and all basics on that would be helpful.

I'm learning the relationship of aperture and depth of field finally.. but I still don't understand when to use what fstop/speed combination.. and which                  ISO            setting..
next big topic.. printing various sizes of pics.. how to shoot at high denisty/6.5mp or higher.. and get it to print an 8x10 without having to crop anything..

calibration.. would be a good topic.. and printing in general.. what options exist, what vendors can you send photos to and have pics returned.. , etc

I would like to see some intelligent discussion of photographer's fees.
   1.  Examples of fees charged
   2.  Some kind of guideline as to what to charge.
   3.  What does the client get for the money?
