"The Attic"
Always reminds me of the book by VC Andrews. I feel like I'm in that dark attic, locked away, can't escape it.

This picture was taken at Oxbow Bend in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming in September, 2005. I love this shot because not only was the rainbow beautiful to see but I like how it reflects in the lake and the different shades of light give the picture depth.

My very first scenery image when I bought my first digital camera. I took this picture for a friend who is an artist...he wanted scenery images to paint. Because his request....and this picture started my love for photography.

I love this old oak in the meadow under the shadow of half dome. I had watched the sun rise in a different spot on the Merced River, seen the morning fog and figured the dawn show was over. I came around the corner and figured it was too early to get the kids up...so why not watch the sun come over Half Dome. There was a photographer with his 4x5 in the same meadow with his back to this tree, the light on it only lasted about 2 minutes, to missing the construction junk behind the tree I sat in the grass.

....shot many years ago...this image uses studio-like
lighting, but dosn't look like a studio shot due to the location. Has a
spontaneous feel to it, with an interesting intensity due to the man/ball
concentration. Has a darkish feel and exudes a meditative feeling.
shot with an 8x10 field camera

It was hard to pick but this was a Russian dancer who worked at the club. I took 250 shots of her.
